[edit] Translation Request
Greetings Paa.kwesi!
Since you are a expert native speaker of the unqiue Akan language, I have expressed my Support of your admin request at Wikipedia:Administrators.
Can you kindly help me translate this English article into the unique Akan language? Please.
The "True Jesus Church" is an independent church that was established in Beijing, China in 1917. Today, there are approximately 1.5 million members in forty five countries. The church belongs to the Pentecostal-Protestant branch of Christianity that emerged during the early twentieth Century. Since 1985, this church was established in Ghana. Christmas and Easter are not celebrated by the church since it has pagan origins. The church follows the "Jesus-name doctrine" instead of the Trinity. The church aims to preach the gospel to all nations before the Second Coming of Jesus.
The ten main beliefs of the church are:
- Holy Spirit - The church believes that "speaking in tongues" is evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit.
- Baptism - This is conducted in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with the person's head facing downwards and fully immersed into natural living water.
- Holy Communion - This is the sacrament to commemorate the death of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Sabbath day - Unlike most other denominations, the church keeps the Sabbath on Saturday instead of Sunday.
- Feet washing
- Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ, the Word who became flesh, died on the cross for the redemption of sinners, resurrected on the third day and ascended to heaven.
- Holy Bible - consists of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God and is the standard for Christian living.
- Salvation - is given by the grace of God through faith.
- Church
- Final Judgment - The Lord's Second Coming will take place on the Last Day when He descends from heaven to judge the world: the righteous will receive eternal life, while the wicked will be eternally condemned
Any help at all would be very gratefully appreciated, Thankyou very much.
