Talk:Lungsod ng Muntinlupa
Mula sa Tagalog Wikipedia, ang malayang ensiklopedya.
There is no Muntinlupa Province or Province of Muntinlupa to speak of, so appending a Lungsod ng before the city’s name would I believe be unnecessary. This may be the custom—kinagawian—in formal English, as in City of Makati and the less formal Makati City, but then that’s English. Think if Las Vegas was renamed City of Las Vegas or Las Vegas City. Either way, people say Las Vegas and Makati.

- The word makati (small m) may mean itch or tide in Tagalog. --Jojit fb 03:59, 12 Nobyembre 2005 (UTC)
